Job summary

HMSHost in New York City is seeking a General Manager II to lead a complex QSR or Casual Dine restaurant (or small cluster) with annual sales over $4M. You will ensure clean, staffed, open operations and drive high standards in P&L management and guest experience.

You will deploy staff, coach leaders, recruit, ensure onboarding, handle safety, and implement brand standards while driving revenue growth and cost control across multiple outlets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant P&L management experience.
• 5-7 years of overall restaurant experience in similar complexity.

Responsibilities

• Open/close operations and ensure opening/closing checklists.
• Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability; manage staffing levels.
• Provide staff coaching, recognition, and development aligned to business goals.
• Recruit, hire, promote, and onboard restaurant associates; promote HMSHost as employer of choice.
• Ensure diversity and inclusion and compliance with badging, orientation, and training processes.
