Job summary

Eaton’s North American Sales Division is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to cover Northern California and Reno territories from Pleasanton or Roseville, CA. You will build relationships with contractors, channel partners, homebuilders, and installers while driving growth in residential electrical solutions such as smart panels and EV charging infrastructure.

You will collaborate cross-functionally, analyze market trends, and provide technical guidance, quotations, and planning support to win

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, channel sales, business development, account management, sales engineering, product management, or related roles.
Must reside within 75 miles of either Pleasanton, CA or Roseville, CA.
No sponsorship provided for this position.
Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
Willingness to travel regularly across the territory.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with key single-family contractors, channel partners, and homebuilders.
Identify and activate high-potential installers and distribution partners within the territory.
Support and grow existing installers and channel partners to increase engagement and sales.
Execute territory sales plans and business development strategies to achieve sales goals.
Conduct customer visits, events, trade shows, training, and site visits to drive demand.
