Alternative Services Connecticut, Inc is seeking a Residential Manager to oversee all program services and operations, including personnel management, policy adherence and fiscal oversight. The role ensures compliance with DDS regulations and supports consumer services in a respectful environment.

The position requires leadership across clinical and non-clinical teams, readiness for licensing processes, staff evaluations, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with two years of management experience and two years direct care experience in developmental disabilities or dual diagnosis; substitution allowed year-for-year with experience.
• Strong administrative, fiscal, personnel and operational leadership for a residential care setting.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable; travel may be required using Agency or personal vehicle.
• CPR, First Aid, PMT and DDS Medication Certification required; able to lift up to 75 pounds and physically intervene as needed.

Responsibilities

• Hires in cooperation with supervisor and HR Administrator; ensures accurate and complete personnel information and bi-weekly payroll.
• Maintain staff levels with supervisor and Behaviorist; ensure trainings and corrective actions are completed.
• Supervise residential personnel per ASI policies, union contract, DDS regs and laws; conduct appraisals and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure proper financial management of house and consumer finances per DDS regulations.
• Oversee emergency procedures, preventive maintenance, vehicle maintenance and mileage reporting monthly.
