Job summary

Alternative Services – Connecticut, Inc. seeks an Assistant Residential Manager to support daily operations and ensure programs for residents are followed. You will collect behavioral data, supervise activities, and act as a role model with respect for consumers.

The role requires coordinating on-call coverage, assisting with staff evaluations, and maintaining safety and incident documentation in compliance with agency policies and DDS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.
• CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS medication administration certifications or ability to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and physically intervene when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residential Manager in managing program operations.
• Assure that consumers' programs are followed and collect data for behavior analysis.
• Share on-call coverage and participate in staff appraisals.
• Prepare and document monthly consumer files for accuracy.
• Develop and implement activity plans and supervise programs for residents.
• Transport residents to community activities and ensure safety.
• Document incidents and maintain home sanitation and safety inspections.
• Adhere to agency policies, licensing regulations, and emergency procedures.
