Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of management experience.
• Two years direct care experience in developmental disabilities or dual diagnosis; experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
• Administrative knowledge in fiscal, personnel, and operational processes for supervising residential care facilities.
• Demonstrated leadership through positive role modeling and staff development.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured; occasional travel with agency or personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Works vacant shifts and shares on-call coverage bi-weekly.
• Conducts staff performance appraisals and supervises personnel in accordance with policy and DDS regulations.
• Hires in cooperation with supervisor and HR; assists in payroll preparation.
• Ensures proper staffing levels and coordinates trainings with the Behaviorist and supervisor.
• Manages house and consumer finances per policy and DDS guidelines.
• Maintains emergency procedures, preventive maintenance, and vehicle records and reports monthly.
• Chairs monthly staff meetings and ensures accurate minutes.
• Supports licensing readiness and documentation for inspections and plans of correction.
• Promotes positive relationships between staff, consumers, and external agencies.
• Distributes medications per individual schedules and DDS guidelines; ensures safe administration.
