Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in our single-family homes. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to service requests and coordinate with the Property Management team to ensure resident satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma, 5+ years of maintenance experience, and EPA certification. A valid driver’s license and own tools are needed; on-call and after-hours availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years’ general service and maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• HVAC Certification preferred; EPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced HVAC issues and repair or replace defective equipment.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections and service requests.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Report major repairs or replacements prior to expenditure of funds.
• Maintain punctual attendance and professional conduct with residents and vendors.
