Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in our single-family homes. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and ensure safety and compliance with company policies.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of general maintenance experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. On-call availability, weekends and evenings may be required in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair).
• HVAC Certification from a Technical College or Trade Program is preferred; EPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential single-family homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and service requests.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment or components on HVAC systems.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Maintain punctuality and complete service requests professionally.
