Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in our single-family homes. You will perform preventive maintenance and coordinate with residents and vendors while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience, EPA/HVAC certifications, and a valid driver’s license. You will use a range of tools and basic Microsoft Office for reporting and scheduling, with on-call and weekend

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• HVAC Certification from technical college or trade program is preferred.
• EPA Certification required.
• Experience servicing residential appliances and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations quickly and determine steps to resolve service requests with excellent customer service.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and service requests on electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment in HVAC systems.
• Report major repairs or replacements prior to expenditures.
• Maintain safety and compliance with policies and regulations.
