Job summary

Progress Residential, L.P. is seeking a seasoned Service Technician III - HVAC to maintain and repair HVAC systems across our single-family rental homes. You will diagnose issues, perform proactive maintenance, and ensure safety compliance while delivering excellent resident service.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of general maintenance experience, HVAC certification, EPA certification, and own basic tools along with a valid driver’s license. Weekend/on-call availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in general maintenance and service (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall).
• HVAC certification from technical college or trade program preferred; EPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on electrical, plumbing, appliances, and building systems.
• Diagnose advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment; report major repairs before expenditures.
• Maintain safety standards and adhere to regulations (EPA, OSHA).
• Communicate with residents and vendors professionally.
