Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to join our Property Management team. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems across our single-family homes, while performing essential maintenance tasks and ensuring high standards of resident service.

The role requires a high school diploma, 5+ years in general maintenance, HVAC and EPA certifications, and your own basic tools. You must be able to work on-call, weekends, and evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, etc.).
• HVAC Certification and EPA Certification required/preferred.
• Own basic tools to perform ongoing service in residential environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential single-family homes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service requests on electrical, plumbing, appliances, and related systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment or components on HVAC equipment.
• Maintain property safety and report major repairs before expenditure of funds.
• Adhere to company policies and state/federal regulations and ensure timely service delivery.
