Job summary

Best Buy's Geek Squad seeks a Senior Repair Technician (Agent) to lead tech support at a store, train and coach agents in repairs, and model excellence for customer experiences. Internally, this role is known as a CIA Agent.

You will diagnose and repair PCs and consumer electronics, guide staff, communicate goals, and ensure issues are resolved while upholding Geek Squad standards. Internal title: CIA Agent.

Qualifications

• 1 year of diagnosing and repairing PCs or consumer electronics.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience, including coaching and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Geek Squad leaders with staff scheduling for customer service, device diagnosis, repair, service and follow-up.
• Communicate department goals and important information clearly and timely to team members.
• Work directly with customers to ensure service needs are met and resolve escalated issues.
• Provide coaching to agents to develop customer service and repair skills.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve goals and maintain high service standards.
