Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent) to work at our local store and provide technology support, repairing computers and other devices. You’ll listen to customers, partner with other Agents and follow our repair procedures to deliver hands-on solutions.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting or repairing technology products.
• Experience actively using and learning about consumer electronics.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic discoveries, make recommendations, repair devices and help customers in-person and over the phone.
• Establish and maintain consistent rhythms for timely follow-up and meet or exceed expectations.
• Partner with team members to document customer requests and repairs accurately.
• Ensure repair tasks are completed timely and escalate issues with leaders as needed.
• Maintain knowledge, skills and certifications through training courses.
