Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED in the United States (hybrid/remote) seeks a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the Cyberpunk 2 project. You will develop rendering solutions in Unreal Engine 5, optimize performance, and collaborate with engineers and artists to bring the world to life.

Requires 7+ years, strong C++, AAA titles, Unreal Engine, low-level graphics APIs, and a passion for runtime fidelity. The role offers a flexible hybrid/remote setup with comprehensive health and well-being benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Experience on AAA console titles, particularly with Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with in-depth graphics programming.
• Unreal Engine 5 or equivalent in-house engine experience.
• Modern rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architecture knowledge.
• Multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan, etc.).
• Experience with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix, etc.).
• Ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level.
• Strong communication, ownership, and proactive teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance graphics systems for performance and memory.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to develop new rendering solutions for a large-scale open-world.
• Help art teams bring characters and a cyberpunk world to life with advanced rendering.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory across CPU and GPU.
