Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the Cyberpunk 2 team. You will develop and optimize rendering systems using Unreal Engine 5, collaborating with engineers and artists to push visual fidelity in a large open-world game.

Responsibilities include maintaining graphics pipelines, improving performance, and driving low-level optimizations for both CPU and GPU, in a role that offers hybrid/remote work options in the US with a focus on delivering cutting-edge visuals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in graphics rendering.
• Experience on AAA console titles and Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with graphics programming expertise.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 or similar engine.
• Strong understanding of modern rendering techniques and CPU/GPU architectures.
• Extensive multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan, etc.).
• Experience with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix, etc.).
• Proven ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level.
• Excellent communication, ownership and proactive collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance graphics systems for performance and memory efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to develop new rendering solutions for large open-world environments.
• Help art teams render vast characters and cyberpunk world with high fidelity.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage on CPU and GPU.
