Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED in the United States seeks a Senior Rendering Engineer to work on Cyberpunk 2. You will develop rendering solutions in Unreal Engine 5 to achieve high visual fidelity for a vast open world and collaborate with engineers and artists to bring the cyberpunk universe to life.

You will optimize performance and memory usage on CPU and GPU, profile graphics to remove bottlenecks, and work with cutting-edge tech like real-time ray tracing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• AAA console titles experience, especially with Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with graphics programming expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 or equivalent custom engine.
• Deep understanding of modern rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architecture.
• Extensive multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan, etc.).
• Proficiency with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix, etc.).
• Ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level.
• Excellent communication, ownership, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance existing graphics systems for performance and memory improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to develop new rendering solutions for a large-scale open world.
• Help art teams bring characters and a cyberpunk world to life with high runtime fidelity.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across CPU and GPU.
