Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the Cyberpunk 2 project. You will develop rendering solutions and optimizations using Unreal Engine 5 to push visual fidelity in a large-scale open world.

You will collaborate with engineers and artists to deliver lifelike characters and environments, optimize performance, and help ship high-quality visuals across platforms, including US remote/hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• AAA console titles experience, especially with Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with graphics programming expertise.
• Unreal Engine 5 or in‑house engine experience.
• Strong knowledge of rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architectures.
• Multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with DirectX12, Vulkan, or similar APIs.
• Experience with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix).
• Ability to profile and optimize low-level performance.
• Good communication, ownership and team spirit.
• Proactive in helping the team work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance graphics systems for performance and memory efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to develop new rendering solutions for a large-scale open world.
• Help art teams bring characters and a cyberpunk world to life with runtime graphical fidelity.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage on CPU and GPU.
