Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join the Cyberpunk 2 team and help define future visual fidelity using Unreal Engine 5. You will collaborate with engineers and artists to push runtime rendering for a large-scale, open-world experience.

The role requires strong C++ and graphics expertise, multi-threaded programming, and a track record on AAA titles. Hybrid/in-office or remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Experience on AAA console titles, particularly with Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in C++ with in-depth graphics programming experience.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 or in-house engine.
• Extensive knowledge of modern rendering techniques and GPU/CPU architecture.
• Multithreaded programming experience.
• Experience with low-level graphics APIs (DirectX12, Vulkan).
• Experience with graphics debugging tools (RenderDoc, Pix).
• Ability to profile and optimize performance at a low level.
• Strong communication, ownership mindset and proactive teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, debug, and enhance graphics systems for performance and memory.
• Collaborate with engineers and content teams to develop new rendering solutions for open-world environments.
• Help art teams render vast characters and cyberpunk worlds with high runtime fidelity.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across CPU and GPU.
