Job summary

Empower Careers is seeking a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to deliver retirement and financial wellness guidance within employer-sponsored plans. You will guide participants through managed accounts, build relationships, and educate on distribution decisions while meeting sales and service goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in financial services, FINRA registrations, and comfort with Salesforce. Remote nationwide work is supported with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory environments.
• Demonstrated success in sales.
• Good understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products/services and the qualified retirement plan environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office; ability to manipulate files.
• Ability to learn Empower's record keeping system and Salesforce.
• FINRA 7 & 66 registrations required (or 63 & 65).
• FINRA fingerprinting upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and respond to questions about plans and policies.
• Relay accurate information and clearly communicate policies and procedures.
• Retain assets through education and guidance of plan options.
• Guide customers through informed distribution decisions and tax implications of retirement investments.
• Deliver optimal solutions in every interaction.
• Collaborate with peers to solve problems and deliver results.
• Use innovative tools to find best options for retirement planning needs.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
