Empower Careers seeks a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to deliver comprehensive retirement and financial wellness guidance to participants in employer-sponsored plans. You will guide them through key decisions that impact long-term financial well-being, building trusted relationships and delivering personalized service.

The role includes inbound and outbound calls, achieving sales and service goals, and staying current with retirement products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory environments.
• FINRA 7 & 66 registrations required (or 63 & 65) and fingerprinting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and respond to plan questions.
• Relay accurate information and clearly communicate policies and procedures.
• Retain assets through education and guidance of plan distributions.
• Educate customers on distribution options and tax implications of retirement investments.
• Deliver optimal solutions in every interaction.
• Collaborate with peers to solve problems and deliver results.
• Leverage tools to identify best retirement-planning options for customers.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
