Job summary

Empower Careers is seeking a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to deliver retirement and financial wellness guidance to participants in employer-sponsored plans. You will guide decisions, manage accounts, and deepen relationships through proactive engagements in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in financial services, and FINRA registrations. Remote nationwide work is supported with competitive benefits and a $5,000 sign-on for licensed candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory environments.
• Demonstrated success in sales.
• Good understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products/services and the qualified retirement plan environment.
• FINRA registrations (7 & 66) required.
• FINRA fingerprinting upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and respond to plan and policy questions.
• Relay accurate information and concise communication of policies and procedures.
• Retain assets through education and guidance of plan options.
• Educate customers on distribution decisions and tax implications.
• Deliver optimal solutions to customers in every interaction.
• Collaborate with peers to problem solve and deliver results.
• Use tools to find the best retirement-planning options for customers.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
