Job summary

Empower Careers seeks a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to guide participants in employer-sponsored retirement plans, delivering personalized education and trusted advice. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, meet sales and service goals, and use modern tools to tailor solutions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years in financial services, strong IRA knowledge, and FINRA 7 & 66 registrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 2+ years in financial services, retirement planning, or advisory.
• Proven sales success and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong understanding of IRAs and retirement plans.
• Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and basic PC files.
• Ability to learn Empower's systems and Salesforce quickly.
• FINRA 7 & 66 registrations required (or 63 & 65).
• FINRA fingerprinting upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships by delivering personalized service and addressing questions.
• Convey policies and procedures clearly and accurately.
• Retain assets through education on distributions and plan options.
• Educate customers on tax implications of distribution decisions.
• Provide optimal solutions in every interaction.
• Collaborate with peers to solve problems and deliver results.
• Leverage tools to find best retirement planning options.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
