Job summary

Lumen seeks a senior monetization strategist to shape promotional offers and long-term monetization for cloud-based, AI-enabled, and digital product portfolios. You will lead pricing architecture, business cases, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize revenue and customer value.

You will build financial models, test ideas, and guide marketing motions while ensuring scalable monetization frameworks across the portfolio. This role blends finance, strategy, and product insight.

Qualifications

• Strong pricing and monetization experience across cloud/SaaS APIs or digital ecosystems.
• Six+ years in pricing, monetization, financial analysis, product analytics, cloud economics, or commercial strategy.
• Experience crafting pricing/monetization strategies for cloud platforms and AI-enabled products.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytics using SQL, Python, and BI tools.
• Strong executive communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience guiding complex initiatives in large, matrixed organizations.
• Enterprise technology or B2B pricing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead promotional pricing strategy, rate design, and governance.
• Develop scalable, testable monetization motions and marketing coordination.
• Align pricing architecture with customer value, usage, and product strategy.
• Identify new revenue opportunities to maximize network value.
• Build financial models evaluating unit economics, margins, and customer behavior.
• Use analytics and cohort modeling to measure initiative effectiveness.
• Partner with product, engineering, finance, sales, and marketing to translate capabilities into offers.
• Advise stakeholders on tradeoffs, risks, and best practices for cloud monetization.
• Present executive-ready business cases linking pricing to growth.
