Job summary

Lumen is seeking a senior pricing and monetization professional to shape offers across cloud, AI-enabled, and digital product portfolios. You will develop scalable monetization frameworks, guide marketing motions, and influence cross-functional strategy to drive long-term growth and customer value.

Responsibilities include leading pricing design, calculating unit economics, and presenting executive-ready business cases.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing and implementing pricing strategies for cloud platforms, SaaS models, AI-enabled products, APIs, or digital ecosystems.
• Six plus years of related experience in pricing, monetization strategy, financial analysis, product analytics, cloud economics, or commercial strategy.
• Advanced proficiency with financial modeling, SQL, Python, BI tools, and analytics methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead promotional pricing strategy, rate design, marketing coordination, communication and governance.
• Develop scalable and repeatable motions that can be tested and changed over time.
• Align pricing architecture with customer value, usage, outcomes, product strategy, and long-term growth.
• Identify new revenue opportunities that maximize our network and bring value to our customers.
• Build financial models and evaluate unit economics, margins, customer behavior, scalability, and market benchmarks.
• Use analytics and cohort modeling to understand the effectiveness of new initiatives.
• Partner with product, engineering, finance, sales, marketing, and go-to-market teams to translate technical capabilities into viable offers.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert on cloud and AI monetization, advising stakeholders on tradeoffs, risks, and best practices.
• Present executive-ready business cases and recommendations that connect pricing decisions to customer value, financial impact, and growth.
