Job summary

SouthState Bank seeks a Correspondent Senior Business Development Officer to own and drive new relationships with community banks, marketing current SouthState Correspondent products and services. You will maintain knowledge of offerings and support development of opportunities across a defined region.

Travel is extensive (about 90%), with pay in the $87,282.00–$139,425.00 per year range. A Bachelor's degree and 6–10 years of related experience are required; telecommuting roles are supported

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
• Experience: Six to ten years related experience and/or training.
• Certifications/Specific Knowledge: None

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with community bank customers and drive new sales.
• Market and promote SouthState Correspondent products and services.
• Support analysis and presentation of comparisons for prospect institutions.
• Attend events as a SouthState Correspondent liaison.
• Collaborate with bank management and support personnel on opportunities and issues.
