Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Sr. Relay Technician to lead protection and control testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project execution for substation and C&I systems. You will guide field teams, ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction while delivering high-quality documentation and settings verification.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, hands-on relay equipment work, and collaboration with utilities and clients across North America.

Qualifications

• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen for safety-sensitive position.
• Criminal background check required.
• Willing to travel and work overtime as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Lead protection and control testing, commissioning and troubleshooting for substation systems.
• Develop project execution plans, outage sequences, and energization procedures.
• Coordinate field activities and mentor Relay Technicians.
• Interface with utilities and customers to communicate status and resolve issues.
