Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Senior Relay Technician to lead protection and control system work, including advanced testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project execution. You will guide field teams, ensure safe operation of substation and industrial systems, and interact with customers to meet expectations.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical expertise, and risk reduction, with travel and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Overtime work and out-of-town travel required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience installing, testing, and repairing protection relays in power substations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety briefings and enforce safety policies.
• Analyze protection schemes and manage field projects.
• Install, commission, test, and validate relay panels and equipment.
• Perform end-to-end testing using relay test software.
• Develop and deliver project plans, procedures, and documentation.
• Mentor Relay Technicians and junior engineers; interface with customers.
