Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Senior Relay Technician to lead protection and control system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and full project execution for substation and industrial facilities across North America.

The role emphasizes safety, customer interface, team development, and technical leadership, with opportunities for advanced training, travel, and professional growth within a dynamic power engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen due to safety-sensitive role.
• Background check required and satisfactory.
• Willing to work overtime and travel out of town.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Hands-on experience with protective relays in substations.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and commissioning of protection and control systems.
• Analyze protection schemes for power circuits and systems.
• Manage field teams and project execution from start to finish.
• Develop and deliver test reports, relay settings validation, and docs.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to communicate status.
