Job summary

Huntington National Bank in Houston is seeking a Regional Banking Relationship Manager Sr. to acquire new business and deepen existing relationships. The role targets businesses with sales from $2 million to $50 million and credit exposures up to $25 million, focusing on companies with more than $25 million in sales.

As a senior sales professional, you will work with internal partners, manage portfolios, and mentor junior colleagues while representing the bank in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (4-year education) and Business Banking/Commercial lending experience.
• 10+ years of Business Banking/Commercial Banking experience.
• Strong relationship-building and credit analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new, profitable business relationships through proactive prospecting and networking.
• Analyze, structure, and close complex loan transactions in Regional Banking.
• Maintain credit worthiness by gathering and reviewing documents from applicants.
• Manage a portfolio of existing business clients with sales up to $50M and credit exposure up to $25M.
• Deepen relationships by coordinating with internal partners to deliver bank solutions.
• Lead quarterly portfolio reviews and oversee CAR documentation.
• Collaborate with the Loan Center and Commercial Loan Servicing to ensure complete credit packages.
• Represent the bank at community and business events and mentor junior colleagues.
