Job summary
Prominent Chicago-area employer PremiStar is seeking a Senior Recruiter to own the full recruitment lifecycle for professional, operational, and skilled trades roles, with emphasis on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation positions.
You will partner with managers to shape role requirements, interview plans, and timelines, while developing proactive pipelines from trade schools and industry networks. A data-driven approach will optimize sourcing efficacy and candidate experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, business, or related field.
- 2–5 years of progressive recruiting experience with full-cycle success.
- Experience recruiting within HVAC/mechanical trades and industrial services.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for professional, operational, and technical roles.
- Develop targeted strategies aligned to role requirements, market and geography.
- Build proactive candidate pipelines for current and future needs.
- Source active and passive candidates via referrals, networks, and social platforms.
- Assess candidates for technical qualifications, experience, leadership, and cultural fit.
- Present qualified candidates to managers with concise summaries.
- Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, plans, timelines, and decisions.
