Job summary

Carvana in Plainfield, IN seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multiple reconditioning lines in the Inspection & Reconditioning Center, plan production for full shifts, and ensure production metrics are consistently met.

You will lead a team of 50+ associates, drive continuous improvement projects, conduct weekly performance reviews with senior leadership, and coach managers on development plans while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team of 50+ associates.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to relocate regionally/nationwide.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Plan production for a full shift across multiple reconditioning lines.
• Manage facilities to meet targets in production, cost, and quality when leadership is absent.
• Identify bottlenecks; conduct root cause analysis and implement action plans.
• Lead weekly performance reviews with senior leadership and report against targets.
• Guide daily site manager huddles to set priorities.
• Support continuous improvement projects at site and region.
• Foster growth and provide development plan feedback.
• Uphold Carvana operating standards and safety guidelines.
