Job summary

Carvana's Inspection & Reconditioning Center in Ohio is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee multiple reconditioning lines, plan production for a full shift, and drive key performance metrics across safety, quality, and cost. The role requires 8+ years in automotive or lean manufacturing, proven leadership of 50+ associates, strong root-cause problem solving, and excellent communication.

Relocation nationwide is preferred; regional relocation acceptable.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team of 50+ associates and developing employees.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis to solve operational challenges.
• Must be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple reconditioning lines and plan production for a full shift.
• Fully manage facilities to meet or exceed targets in production, cost, and quality when the General Manager is not onsite.
• Identify bottlenecks, conduct root cause analyses, develop action plans, and execute with site leadership and associates.
• Conduct weekly site performance reviews with Senior Reconditioning leadership, reporting on performance versus targets, challenges, and countermeasures.
• Guide daily site manager huddles to establish the day's tone and priorities.
• Foster growth and development in Reconditioning Lead and Manager populations through Development Plans and feedback.
• Embody Carvana values through leadership, teamwork, and on-floor communication.
• Uphold Carvana operating standards and health, safety and loss prevention guidelines.
