Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Reconditioning Manager to oversee daily operations in an Inspection Center, directing 5+ leads and up to 70 front line associates in a lean manufacturing environment. You will drive continuous improvement while achieving quality, production, and cost objectives.

This role requires at least 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing, strong leadership, and the ability to coach teams to meet performance metrics and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Experience leading and developing associates.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
• Mentor and develop direct reports with coaching, leadership development and training.
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with Carvana’s goals.
• Ensure adherence to operating standards, systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive problem-solving efforts.
• Manage staffing, production planning and overtime to meet capacity needs.
