Job summary

Carvana is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee multiple reconditioning lines in our Inspection & Reconditioning Center. You will plan production for a full shift, manage facilities to hit targets in production, cost, and quality, and drive continuous improvement with the site leadership team.

The role requires 8+ years of management, experience leading 50+ associates, and strong root cause analysis skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team of 50+ associates and developing employees.
• Excellent reading, writing, speaking and understanding of English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple reconditioning lines and plan production for a full shift.
• Manage facilities to meet targets in production, cost, and quality when leadership is offsite.
• Identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and execute action plans with leadership.
• Lead weekly performance reviews and report on targets, challenges, and countermeasures.
• Guide daily site manager huddles and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate development plans and provide competency-based feedback to leaders.
