B&B Concrete is seeking an experienced Estimating/Preconstruction professional to lead reinforcing-steel takeoffs, costing and detailing for complex projects. You will review structural drawings, coordinate with design teams, and establish realistic labor and material estimates to support bids and project planning.

The role emphasizes technical leadership in estimating standards, production rates and historical cost data, with collaboration across estimating, operations and project management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years reinforcing-steel industry experience (10+ preferred).
• Experience estimating reinforcing steel for large projects.
• Ability to review drawings and detailing requirements and identify constructability issues.
• Knowledge of fabrication and field placement of reinforcing steel.

Responsabilités

• Perform complete reinforcing-steel quantity takeoffs from structural drawings and specs.
• Develop material, fabrication, detailing, placing labor and other costs.
• Establish labor hours and production assumptions for projects.
• Review plans for scope gaps and constructability concerns.
• Prepare conceptual, preliminary and final estimates.
