B&B Concrete is seeking an experienced Estimator with strong reinforcing-steel expertise to lead takeoffs, cost development, and bid strategy. The role combines estimating, detailing review, and coordination with project management and field teams.

The ideal candidate has substantial hands-on experience in reinforcing steel, ability to review structural drawings, and knowledge of detailing requirements. Remote work is supported with periodic site interaction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years reinforcing-steel industry experience (preferred)
• Ability to independently review structural drawings and specs
• Experience with large concrete projects (industrial, infrastructure)
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Familiarity with ACI/CRSI standards and detailing software

Responsabilités

• Perform complete reinforcing-steel quantity takeoffs from drawings/specs
• Develop material, fabrication, detailing, labor, equipment costs
• Establish labor hours and production assumptions
• Review plans for scope gaps and constructability
• Prepare conceptual, preliminary and final estimates
• Mentor junior estimators and detailers
• Lead estimating department development
