B&B Concrete is seeking an experienced Estimator to lead reinforcing-steel takeoffs, pricing, and preconstruction activities across industrial and infrastructure projects. You will review drawings, develop estimates, and help establish company standards for cost data and efficiency.

This remote, full-time role requires 7+ years in the reinforcing-steel field, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with project teams, suppliers, and field personnel to mitigate risk and improve bid

Qualifications

• 7+ years in reinforcing-steel industry with emphasis on estimation and detailing.
• Ability to independently review structural drawings and specifications.
• Experience with large concrete projects (industrial, infrastructure).
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of ACI and CRSI requirements.

Responsabilités

• Perform complete reinforcing-steel quantity takeoffs from drawings.
• Develop material, fabrication, detailing, and labor cost estimates.
• Establish labor hours and production assumptions.
• Review plans for scope gaps and constructability concerns.
• Coordinate with project management and field teams.
• Mentor junior estimators and detailers over time.
