Job summary

Newmark Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Real Estate Appraiser to lead and complete complex valuations for mortgage underwriting, acquisitions, and portfolio analysis. You will prepare USPAP-compliant reports, review work, and collaborate with senior staff and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in real estate or related fields; MS/MBA preferred.
• Must hold state Certified General Appraiser license.
• 3–6 years of commercial real estate appraisal experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete appraisal reports independently on complex properties.
• Conduct market research and develop income, sales comparison, and cost approaches.
• Manage assignments, ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior staff and support proposals and business development.
• Engage directly in client meetings and defend conclusions.
