Job summary

Newmark Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Real Estate Appraiser to lead complex valuations across commercial assets, from scope definition to USPAP-compliant reports for mortgage underwriting and portfolio analysis.

The role requires 3–6 years of CRE appraisal experience, a state Certified General Appraiser License, and strong analytical and writing abilities. Opportunities include collaboration with senior staff, QA/QC oversight, and client-facing engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate or related fields (economics/finance).
• MS/MBA in real estate preferred.
• Certified General Appraiser License per state.
• 3–6 years in commercial real estate appraisal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete appraisal reports independently on complex properties with QA/QC oversight.
• Conduct market research and valuation approaches (income, sales comparison, cost).
• Present and defend conclusions to clients, lenders, and counsel.
• Mentor junior staff and support proposals and business development.
