Job summary

Newmark Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Real Estate Appraiser to lead complex valuations across commercial, industrial, multifamily, and specialty properties.

You will deliver USPAP-compliant reports for mortgage underwriting, acquisitions, and portfolio analysis, collaborating with senior staff to ensure quality and compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, economics or finance; MS/MBA preferred.
• Certified General Appraiser License required.
• 3–6 years of commercial real estate appraisal experience.
• Experience writing appraisal reports and reviews for complex properties.
• Strong knowledge of valuation concepts and tax processes
• Good analytic and writing skills; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete appraisal reports independently on complex properties.
• Conduct market and income analyses and develop appraisal approaches.
• Propose conclusions to clients, lenders, and counsel with defendable support.
• Manage assignments, QA/QC, and regulatory compliance; mentor staff.
• Engage in client meetings and support business development.
