Job summary

Newmark Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Real Estate Appraiser to lead complex valuations across commercial, industrial, multifamily and specialty properties. You will deliver USPAP-compliant reports for mortgage underwriting, acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio analysis.

The role requires preparing comprehensive appraisals, conducting market research, and presenting conclusions to clients, lenders, and counsel. Collaborative work with senior staff and QA/QC oversight are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate or related field; MS/MBA in real estate preferred.
• Must hold state Licensed Certified General Appraiser.
• 3–6 years of commercial real estate appraisal experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete appraisal reports independently on complex properties with QA/QC oversight.
• Conduct market and property analyses to establish appraised value.
• Develop income, sales comparison, and cost approaches for valuations.
• Engage in client meetings and support business development.
