Job summary

Newmark Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Real Estate Appraiser to lead complex valuations across commercial properties, from scope definition through USPAP-compliant reports for underwriting and advisory purposes.

You will prepare reports independently, supervise junior staff, conduct market research, defend conclusions to clients, lenders, and counsel, and ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance. Competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in real estate or related fields; MS or MBA in real estate preferred.
• Experience and license as Certified General Appraiser; state-specific requirements met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete appraisal reports for complex properties and oversee QA/QC.
• Conduct market research and develop income, sales comparison, and cost approaches.
• Explain and defend conclusions to clients, lenders, and counsel.
• Mentor junior staff and support proposals and business development.
• Inspect properties and ensure regulatory compliance.
