Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a patient services specialist to manage patient registration and scheduling. You will document demographics, triage incoming calls, and provide accurate information to patients and referring providers.

The role requires Epic experience and the ability to navigate multiple systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Hybrid onsite work is available after an initial training period, with a work schedule Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of medical office/hospital/clinic experience.
• 2–3 years of Epic experience in a healthcare environment.
• 2–3 years of customer service in a contact/call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate registration and scheduling for new patient appointments.
• Document patient demographics, medical, financial, and referral information.
• Answer telephone, triage calls, and relay messages with professional service.
• Provide information and instructions to patients regarding the practice and hospitals.
• Obtain all patient information required by providers prior to an appointment.
