Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related medical office/hospital experience required.
• Epic experience: 2-3 years in healthcare environment required.
• 2-3 years of customer service in a contact center/call center setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates registration and scheduling for new patient appointments.
• Documents patient demographic, medical, financial, and referral information in multiple systems.
• Answers calls, triages, and forwards messages with professional courtesy.
• Provides basic information and instructions to patients and referring providers.
• Ensures medical records are available to providers as needed.
• Transcribes calls, referrals, and scheduling details accurately across systems.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality and supports service excellence.
• Schedules referral appointments and radiology orders to meet BWH expectations.
• Performs other duties and adheres to policies.
