Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Leader for Publications Teams to execute comprehensive publication plans for assigned assets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines. You will oversee cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and guide internal and external writers to deliver high-quality publications.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional written and verbal communication, and experience in medical/scientific publishing within the pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; PhD/PharmD/Master’s preferred. CMPP/AMWA a plus.
• 4–5 years of medical/scientific publications experience in pharma or medical communications.
• Demonstrated leadership能力 and excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Publications Teams for assigned assets.
• Oversee execution of publication plans (clinical manuscripts, abstracts, posters, oral presentations).
• Ensure publication plans align with strategic publications and budgets.
• Manage outsourcing budgets and internal resources for publications.
• Provide guidance to internal/external writers and vendors to deliver high-quality publications on time.
• Track publications data and maintain records and resourcing tools.
