• Background in web acceleration, web security, infrastructure security or cloud computing.
• Understanding of internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, SSL).
• Customer advocate with ability to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology.
• Manage the technical proposal process and ensure accurate, addressable technical information.
• Track account activity for business analysis and design technical solutions.
• Lead sales activities such as technical demos and proofs of concept (POCs).
