Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for its Public Sector Pre-Sales team. You will partner with engineering and business groups to become the technical expert our government customers rely on.

The role includes creating sales opportunities, leading technical demos and POCs, and designing scalable web acceleration and security solutions for federal and regulated clients. Requirements: 8 years of experience, a BS in CS or Engineering, US citizenship, and strong

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in a technical pre-sales or consultative role.
• Experience presenting to diverse audiences and customers.
• Background in web acceleration, web security, or cloud computing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create sales opportunities by managing pre-sales process and demonstrating Akamai technology to customers.
• Lead technical demos and proofs of concept (POCs).
• Design technical solutions to meet customer requirements and track account activity for business analysis.
