Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Engagement Manager to deliver measurable impact for Public Sector customers and regional teams in the Forward Deployed Engineering organization.

You will own and independently scope multi-quarter, highly complex initiatives with high autonomy in high-stakes environments. You will drive regional impact, mentor junior managers, shape account strategy for PS&T offerings, and build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in Professional Services or equivalent.
• Expert-level understanding of PS&T offerings and ability to customize solutions for complex environments.
• Proven thought leadership and external visibility in the industry.
• Participate in hiring to attract top talent.
• Expertise in Databricks architecture, ecosystem, and strategic account planning.
• Travel up to 25–50% as required.
• Active high-level clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional impact at BU/Region level and contribute to targets.
• Navigate complex regional, regulatory, or market-specific complexities across multiple countries.
• Coach and support junior Engagement Managers on complex projects.
• Shape account strategy to align with client goals and lead PS&T offerings sales.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with senior customer stakeholders across engagements.
