Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a top-performing, technical sales professional to sell public safety software solutions to new customers while cultivating strong client relationships.

As a hunter in the territory, you will engage with large cities and counties, conduct product demonstrations, and coordinate with state and local officials on multi-jurisdictional projects. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in sales or public safety domains.
• OR 8+ years in sales or public safety with proven results.
• Experience selling to multiple levels, project stakeholders, and committees a plus.
• Ability to navigate government procurement processes is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Sell Motorola's public safety software to new customers.
• Hunter role to capture new business in large-tier agencies.
• Work with the largest cities and counties within the territory.
• Build relationships via phone contact, personal visits, demos, and regional user group meetings.
• Sales opportunities include on-site presentations, internet demonstrations, and coordinating with officials on multi-jurisdictional projects.
