Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Sr. Relay Technician to serve as technical lead for protection and control systems, overseeing advanced testing, commissioning, and field execution.

You will analyze protection schemes, manage complex projects, mentor field teams, and interact with utilities and customers to ensure safe, reliable operation of substations and industrial facilities. Qualifications

• Experience with protecting relays in power systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot protection and control systems.
• Knowledge of relay test software.
• Strong communication and leadership.
• Willingness to travel for projects.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety briefings and enforce safety policies.
• Analyze protection schemes for power circuits.
• Install, commission, and test substation relays.
• Perform end-to-end testing with relay test equipment.
• Read and validate protection schematics and diagrams.
• Lead root cause analyses for trips and failures.
• Develop project execution and outage plans.
