Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Sr. Relay Technician to serve as the technical lead for protection and control systems, overseeing advanced testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and full project execution at substations and industrial facilities.

You will analyze protection schemes, manage complex projects, and mentor field teams while ensuring safe, reliable operation and thorough documentation for customers and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading protection and control projects.
• Strong ability to analyze protection schemes and relays.
• Proven field testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety briefings and enforce safety policies.
• Analyze protection schemes for power systems and substation controls.
• Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of relay panels and substations.
• Conduct end-to-end testing with relay test equipment and software.
• Read and validate schematics, settings, and configurations.
• Mentor Relay Technician I/II and junior engineers.
• Interface with customers, utilities, and project stakeholders.
